Privacy First
Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting the personal information of every manager and league member who uses FPL League Insights. This page summarizes how data flows through the platform, what we store, and the safeguards we rely on to keep your information protected.
Data Sources
FPL League Insights primarily uses publicly available data from the official Fantasy Premier League API (fantasy.premierleague.com). We transform and aggregate this public data to provide enhanced insights for your private leagues. Additionally, we use cookies from third-party services (Google Analytics and Google AdSense) to improve site functionality and display advertisements.
How we handle data
- Only the leagues you explicitly import are processed.
- No personal data is sold or shared with third parties.
- Aggregated insights are cached securely and cleared whenever a manager revokes access.
- All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS end to end.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to show ads on this website.
How ads work
Google may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and to measure how well ads perform. Depending on your choices, ads may be:
- Personalized (based on your interests and browsing activity), or
- Non-personalized (not based on your interests, but still may use limited information like the page you're viewing or general location).
Your consent choices (EEA/UK/Switzerland)
If you visit from the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we ask for your consent for the use of cookies and the collection/sharing/use of data for ad personalization where required. Google's EU user consent policy requires clear information and a way to withdraw consent.
Change or withdraw your consent
You can change your consent at any time using the "Privacy choices" / "Manage consent" link on our site (typically in the footer).
More information
Google explains how it uses cookies in advertising and other services in their Cookie Policy.
Third parties (like Google) may process data according to their own policies.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website (for example: which pages are visited, how long people stay, and what content is most useful).
What data may be collected
Google Analytics may collect information such as:
- pages you visit and actions you take on the site (e.g., clicks, navigation),
- device and browser information (e.g., phone vs desktop, browser type),
- approximate location (derived from technical signals),
- and cookies or similar identifiers used to measure usage.
Google notes that Analytics uses cookies/app identifiers and that users should be informed and, where required, given the opportunity to grant or deny consent.
Consent (where required)
Where required by law (for example in the EEA/UK/Switzerland), we ask for your consent before analytics cookies/identifiers are used.
No personal information
We do not intentionally send personally identifiable information to Google Analytics (Google also prohibits sending PII to Analytics).
Opt-out / control
You can control cookies in your browser settings. You can also use our "Privacy choices / Manage consent" link to change your analytics consent choice at any time.
Third parties (like Google) may process data according to their own policies.
